I know it’s still a little warm in the northern hemisphere at the moment but I’ve had many requests for this pattern from my 18 ½ inch Cabbage Patch doll clothes patterns customers and I felt I couldn’t keep you waiting any longer. Yes, I’ve finally gotten around to redesigning the hood to fit the wider head of the Cabbage Patch doll so the Funky Fur 18 ½ inch Cabbage Patch doll clothes pattern is FINALLY AVAILABLE!
This is one of the more popular outfits sold on my Rosie’s Dolls Clothes website and has been a huge hit with my 18 inch doll clothes patterns customers. ‘SEW’ I’m really excited to be releasing this Funky Fur doll clothes pattern today in the larger 18 ½ inch Cabbage Patch doll size because it means that you too can now make this great outfit for your Cabbage Patch doll! It will certainly keep your doll warm as toast while playing with friends this winter and is ideal for wearing on the ski slopes. For tips on how to turn this pattern into an awesome Santa suit for your doll read my Christmas blog from a couple of years ago.
The Funky Fur pattern includes pattern pieces for the fur trimmed hooded top and the fur trimmed long pants. And remember, when you purchase my downloadable PDF patterns and written instructions, you also receive LIFETIME access to my online video tutorial where I show you step-by-step how to make this great doll clothes pattern.
This pattern is also available in the Cabbage Patch Winter Bundle offer which makes it even better value.
Happy Sewing

I just wanted to say Thank’s so much for the cabbage patch doll clothing. I even tried calling the pattern companies to see if they had any stuck back in the archives and no was the answer from all.
I am a grandmother who takes care of a little one 4-6 days a week and am the caregiver for my husband 24/7. So being home all the time I decided to upcycle dolls and donate them to women’s and homeless shelters etc. I give all the dolls that are unloved today a new lease on life so to say and clean them up, make new cloth bodies etc. plus a new wardrobe.
You would not know the dolls were upcycle’d unless you knew the doll when it was new or me. I clean them up so nice.
Kinda got off track, I have come across several Signed Cabbage patch dolls at the local Goodwill, but did not have a clothing pattern anymore. I had given all my doll and toy patterns away when we down scaled. Only to have to buy them again.
But my Thank’s to you, I will be looking over your patterns and giving you an order this week.
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Hi Glenda,
What a wonderful thing you do, I’m sure the children really appreciate receiving the dolls. I would love to see before and after shots of your up-cycled dolls and if you agree, would be honoured to share them in a future blog.
All the very best to you and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.
Kind regards and happy sewing
Rosie
