    Hi Rosie,
You have out done yourself again. These are gorgeous. My girls will love them. They are into calisthenics and now will have matching outfits for their dolls. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
Have you considered releasing a DVD with your new ‘collections’ ( once you have finalised each one ) on it? I know we can access the instruction videos on-line for 12 months but a copy at home would be a great help too. Just a thought. Cheers Cherrylm.

    • Thanks Cherrylmaree, It’s great to hear that your girls will love having matching outfits for their dolls. I’d love to see photos if you get the chance.

Regarding the DVD for the patterns, if it was just the PDF pattern and instructions (which you download and print) it would be no problem to put them on a CD disc but because there is a lot more involved with video – I have to have it converted to a different format that can be played on DVD players worldwide and have both a CD for the PDF and a DVD for the video, there is considerably more expense in production. At this stage, I don’t think I would recuperate this expense. We are however looking into how we can have the videos available online forever instead of just for 12 months but this will take some more thought and programming. I will certainly let you know as soon as we have this available.

      Happy sewing
      Rosie

Thank you Rosie… I didn’t realise how much was involved. You’ve done a great job with developing the site. It is a credit to you and very ‘user friendly’. Good luck with everything.
I’ve just had my knee replaced so sewing is on hold for a little while, however, I will definitely send some photos when I have some. Cheers. Cherrylm.

I was hoping for that too, Cherrylmaree. I purchased the DVDs that are for sale here thinking that I would get the step-by-step sewing instructions as well. Although these videos are great, it would be REALLY nice to get the step-by-step instructions to go with the patterns I print out. Especially for future reference if I don’t get to sewing with the new patterns before my online tutorial disappears.

Rosie- these new patterns are beautiful and can’t wait to try them. After sewing the swim suit pattern, I don’t like using that type of material but I will definitely be trying the ballerina/gymnastics outfit anyways. Keep the patterns coming Rosie!!!!

    • Hi Crystal, don’t let the Lycra fabric scare you. I find it easier to work with Lycra than some normal knit fabric as it has more body. Just remember to lighten the foot pressure dial if you have one and that will allow the fabric to pass under the pressure foot easier and reduce the stretching. Or some people like to use a walking foot as that helps to move the fabric under the pressure foot more evenly because it eases the fabric from above and below which again helps to reduce stretch.

Regarding the video tutorials being available on DVD, please read my response to Cherrylmaree and you may then understand why I haven’t put individual patterns onto CD and DVD yet. But we are working on an alternative. My DVD set does comes with all the bonus pattern video tutorials so you will have them forever.

      Happy sewing
      Rosie

  4. Love this Rosie! I have enjoyed making your patterns for quite some time and I love this addition to your collection. My daughter will be ever so happy when I make her a new ballet dress for her doll. Thank you, Sasha 🙂
